• Engage in proactive outbound calling efforts to create prospects for sales. 
• Capture and qualify leads from trade exhibitions, webinars, incoming calls, and other marketing campaigns with accuracy. 
• Maintain communication with current D2L connections and cultivate them into potential sales leads. 
• Distribute leads and schedule suitable meetings for sales representatives. 
• Make and maintain phone scripts and emails that generate leads. 
• Utilising the CRM application, update customer interactions 
• Finish sales reports and deliver results to upper management. 
• Perform market research and stay current with information about competitors, products, and the industry. 
• Participate in tradeshows as a representative of D2L; some travel will be necessary. 

Qualifications:

• Desire to pursue a career in sales in a dynamic, fast-paced setting Proactive, goal-oriented, and able to sustain steady customer activity levels to produce leads for sales and cross quarterly targets 
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral; exceptional time management abilities, including the capacity to multitask and autonomously arrange and prioritise tasks 
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-focused abilities with the capacity to sway decision-makers 
• Proven capacity to operate both independently and cooperatively in a group setting 
• It is desirable if you have prior expertise with enterprise software, high-tech solution providers, eLearning, or the education industry. 
• a business, marketing, or related degree or diploma
